Nestled at the top of the South Downs in Sussex with views overlooking the hills to the sea and Brighton Beaches,Tuesday October 8th 2013 “Day at the Races” was a beautiful early autumn day with plenty of sunshine. Perfect weather for one of the final flat race meetings of the season. Arms Around The Child held a fund raising lunch in the West Pier Suite with a stunning performance from Randolf Matthews original, witty and magical journey of stories using layered technology setting the scene for the afternoons races. 7 races in total with one sponsored by Chube and dedicated to Sam Harper Brighouse. During the afternoon there was a silent auction which provided many wonderful experiences, art and fashion for the highest bidders. Arms Around The Child would like to thank all those who participated in the fund raising event.
