SHE IS best remembered for her 1988 smash hit Buffalo Stanceand now star singer-songwriter Neneh Cherry is coming to Portsmouth to performing a charity show.
She told The News she hopes to make it a regular fixture.
Neneh will perform at the Wedgewood Rooms in Albert Road, Southsea.
She will take to the decks and DJ for the night.
She said: ‘What I love about the venue is it has a warmth and intimacy about it. It’s going to be an amazing night.
‘It’s going to be a party and we have a posse of DJs who will be playing a mix of sounds.
‘I will also be playing music and I will be playing some old-school music, as well as hip-hop, funk and soul. I want to bring fun to the night and make sure people have smiles on their faces.’
