The Black Star Gala 2018

In partnership with our Ambassador, Newcastle Premiership Footballer Christian Atsu, we are thrilled to announce our exciting upcoming event The Black Star Gala, which will take place on 14th March 2018 in Newcastle.

 

This special event will be your opportunity to rub shoulders with footballers and celebrities and support the work of Arms Around The Child by funding the building of a new community school in Senya Beraku for the orphaned children in Ghana facing extreme adversity we support. These children have faced a number of challenges and have been rescued from slavery, trafficking and abandonment because of disabilities. However, this new building will help ensure future opportunities for the children by providing a centre of learning and a long-term resource for the local community – which future generations can use.

 

By joining us for this special evening, which includes a cocktail reception, dinner, top entertainment, dancing, and a fundraising auction with some incredible items, you’ll be helping this amazing community. Together, with Christian Atsu and the power of football, we’ll be able to leave a lasting legacy!
