World Music Village
Since 2016 Arms Around The Child have proudly run the World Music Village, part of the award winning large scale commercial music festival Victorious. The festival sits alongside the newly improved beautiful waterfront featuring world class artists and gaining national acclaim.
Transporting festivalgoers to every corner of the globe with a myriad of genres from Jazz, Folk, British Bhangra, Worldbeat, and Electronic music, Balkan, Klezmer, Gypsy, and Middle Eastern “manywhere”, pop, alternative rock, alternative, indie, trip-hop, R&B, reggae, dub, and steppas, roots.
The area showcases diverse talent from around the globe on two stages, as well as movement workshops, poetry and spoken word, a wishing tree and food to die for.
As well as running the production of the area alongside BIMM Arms Around the child co-ordinates a volunteer led fundraising drive to raise money towards running costs of the charities key sites.

The People Kitchen a massively popular plant based pop up with menus planned by a talented local vegan chef.
The Wishing Tree. Add your wish for your future or the future of the planet on the beautifully curated and iconic tree.
Raffle: Revellers can donate for a chance to win festival tickets, iconic artwork and many more fabulous prizes.
The Shimma Shack: Customers can ‘glowup’ with biodegradable glitter, body art, hair braiding and more.
AATC Merch: Beautiful hand crafted dolls, Tshirts, hats, traditional Ghanaian prints and more.
The area features a flea market style array of boutique style stalls, and many street food style vendors alongside both international and local performers.
Previous artists include; Dhol Foundation, Natty, The Turbans, Nonô and Noon Garden, Neneh Cherry, Macka B and Channel One.
The World Music village, is the place to be, a favourite of many locals and out of town visitors.
